Welcome to WannaBees! Our journey began at home, sparked by a simple yet profound need to enrich the world of pretend play for children who crave authenticity and adventure. I’m Lynne, and alongside my best friend and co-founder Pippa, we embarked on a mission that started with my youngest daughter, Imogen. At just five years old, Imogen was captivated by the magic of role-playing, yet we noticed a gap in the market for
realistic, engaging play props suitable for her age. As Imogen grew, so did her desire for play experiences that felt like the “real thing.” This inspired the creation of WannaBees – a series of imaginative books designed to transform everyday role-playing into true-to-life adventures.
